We run regular mentoring circles with trained and DBS checked men. These groups typically meet every two weeks and are open to any boys who would like to attend.
These are safe and open spaces for boys and young men to share their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. These forums promote healthy expression and communication, allowing them to address issues they may be facing. This approach makes it possible to address, process and work through challenging life situations in a healthy and age-appropriate manner, with support and facilitation.
Journeyman has helped me get over things that effected my concentration, make a huge amount of friends and helped me grow my social ability. I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made to keep going on that path with Journeyman.

I like that it creates a culture of communication, in particular with other boys his own age and men who are role models.

A space where young men feel seen and able to drop into vulnerability and express emotions.

Journeyman helps boys to grow greater emotional intelligence which I believe is really needed to avoid tyranny and abuse. It creates community, whatever good the boys are getting it ripples out and through that serves society. I love being a mentor!
Helping our boys have self awareness, confidence and feel resourced in trying times. This all trickles through to the family unit and beyond. We are very grateful for this group and would highly recommend it!
Everyone is there for you, willing to listen with no criticism. It has made me feel valuable. Journeyman has helped me become a stronger person.

It hit me later on, something comes up now and I can see why I’m like that and I think oh yeah that’s what Journeyman exercise was about. It like an epiphany. I’m feeling the benefits more now.
